Project Description
Piano Description:
This resonant and inspiring Steinway B is not just another ‘nice restoration’ among the hundreds of restored Steinway grand pianos in the U.S. marketplace. Keith Hardesty – in the 1970s and 1980s – enjoyed an international repute as one of the finest Steinway restoration experts of his day.
Prepared in February 2023 by the last living Hardesty pupil, George Ashikyan, in Monrovia (San Gabriel Valley).
In addition to a performance-level voice and touch, this instrument has Collector’s Value and pedigree among the connoisseurs in the field (photos attached).
A jewel of an instrument for both the musician and the collector.
